Children's Aid Tanzania is registered with the Tanzania National NGO Coordination department within the Ministry of Community Development, Gender and Children (TNNC) (See link here). The TNNC has the responsibility to coordinate, monitor and supervise the implementation of the activities of NGOs in the country. Essentially this work is carried out through the Department of Coordination of Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs Coordination Department). According to the structure of the Ministry, the Department has two main components, namely Coordinating and Monitoring (Coordination and Monitoring) and Registration of NGOs (Registration).
In performing this role the department has set a vision which aims to achieve the vision of the Ministry and finally the vision of the nation.

Children's Aid Tanzania provides volunteering opportunities in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, assists with educational opportunities for orphans and serves the health needs of vulnerable children.
